Justin, his wife Molly, their son Oliver and their rescue dog Zoey live in Georgetown, Indiana.
Justin serves as your Floyd County Deputy Prosecuting Attorney and Molly serves as a special education teacher at New Albany High School. She also serves in the special needs ministry at Northside Christian Church where their family has been members for many years.
Justin & Molly also serve as licensed foster parents through the Indiana Department of Child Services.
Justin began his career in public service nearly twenty years ago when he enlisted in the National Guard after the terrorist attacks of September 11th. He continued his commitment to serve our community in his legal career, first as an attorney with the Indiana Department of Child Services, and for over five years as your Floyd County Deputy Prosecuting Attorney.
Justin also serves on the Floyd County Purdue Extension Cooperative Board, the Floyd County Community Corrections Board and the New Albany Floyd County School Safety Commission. He is a member of the American Legion, Elks Lodge #270 and the Southern Indiana Branch of the National Deer Association.
Justin attended the United States Army Intelligence School where he graduated with honors in 2003. He also holds a bachelor's degree in History with honors from Western Kentucky University and a Juris Doctor with honors from the University of Louisville - Brandeis School of Law.
Justin’s extensive experience best aligns with the types of cases heard in Floyd Circuit Court. Prior to becoming a Deputy Prosecutor, Justin worked for both small and large civil firms where he regularly appeared in courts locally and across the country for matters ranging from family law to complex medical device litigation. He later served as a staff attorney with DCS where he litigated Children in Need of Services (CHINS) and Termination of Parental Rights (TPR) cases in Floyd and Scott counties.
In the Floyd County Prosecutor's Office, Justin has served as your IV-D Child Support Prosecutor, Juvenile Delinquency Prosecutor, Lead Misdemeanor Prosecutor and Felony Prosecutor. He has tried numerous cases in front of both judges and juries in Floyd County.
